How can I see the date and time that an email was sent to me if it wasn't received today?
Note that the date and time stamp in your email is the time that the email was received in your Inbox and due to network issues may not acurately reflect the time the sender sent the email.
The location of the date and time stamp is dependent on whether the email was received within or after the last 24 hours.
Email Received Over 24 hours Ago
Step 1. Open the email.
Step 2. Click the 'Show details' drop down arrow after the last name in the address line.
Step 3. You will be able to see the date and time that the email was received in your Inbox in the details.
Email Received within the last 24 hours
If the email was received within the last 24 hours, when you open the email you will see the exact time as well as an estimate on how many hours ago the email was received.
