Cannot Activate NetID or Reset Password

Problem or Question:

Trying to change NetID password, but getting error: Access Denied . . . Error 3001

Environment:

FIM IMS

Solution or Answer:

1. Please select "Activate Your NetID" on the page http://www.csueastbay.edu/netid/

Cause:

First time setup requires "Activating Your NetID". Once initial Activation is done, then the "Reset Password" option will work.
