BigFix (IBM Tivoli Endpoint Manager) is a commercial software package that we use for our Central Patch and Power Management (CPPM) service. It improves our ability to keep desktops and laptops patched with the latest security updates to reduce security attacks and keep critical data on campus safe from intrusion.  Do note that BigFix, CPPM, cannot handle all aspects of maintaining your computer securely, and only functions as an important element of good security practices.
