Restoring lost or deleted files from a shared drive

Problem or Question:

I accidentally deleted files on my shard drive and need them restored

Environment:

Microsoft Windows

Solution or Answer:

1) Right Click on "My Documents" - OR the shared drive [ie S: Dept Share]

Note: Right click on the "Parent" folder if the entire sub-folder was deleted 

3) Select "Restore Previous Versions"

4) Click Open to view files that are available for restore

5) See if there is a version or backup copy that has the files you are looking for.
