Is there anyway that I can save my PowerPoint slide presentation so that when I open it goes automatically into slide show mode?

Solution or Answer:

In PowerPoint 2007 or 2010, save the file as a .ppsx type.

By saving the presentation (.pptx) as a "show" (.ppsx) the file will automatically open into the Show mode. This eliminates the need to first open the presentation and go to Slide Show and then View Show.
