Problem or Question:

What are .cpgz files that I have on my desktop? Every time I click on it gives me a copy of original file.

Solution or Answer:

Download the file again.

These are compressed archive that combines the Copy In, Copy Out (.CPIO) archive format and gzip (.GZ) compression; similar to a .TGZ file, which incorporates both an uncompressed .TAR container and gzip compression.

Cause:

The download didn't complete or because the original ZIP file was not compressed correctly.
