Cannot access online course.

Problem or Question:

When I click on the course I get an error.

Error: "Resource Not Found"

Environment:

Blackboard

Solution or Answer:

Clear the browser cache.

Internet Explorer Windows

1.Open Internet Explorer

2.Tools menu item

3.Internet Options

4.Click "Delete" under the "Browsing History" heading

5.Choose "Temporary Internet Files"

6.Click "delete files"

7.Click Yes, then close

Additional Steps for IE Windows

1.Open Internet Explorer

2.Tools menu item

3.Internet Options

4.Click "Settings" under the "Browsing History" heading

5.Choose "Every time I visit the web page"

6.Click OK, then OK again

Firefox for Windows

1.From the Tools menu

Cause:

A web browser cache stores recently visited sites, pages, and images in a place where it can be quickly retrieved so when you visit the same page you have recently seen, the pages and images don't have to be downloaded to your computer all over again, and that speeds up your access. Sometimes the cache needs to be refreshed or cleared so that new information displays properly.
