All formatting of my work disappears when I enter it into the post.

Solution or Answer:

It is best to use the formatting tools available in the visual text editor for the discussion boards rather than copying and pasting from another program.

Hint: Try using the combination of "Shift" and "Enter" keys for a "hard" return to force a new line separating paragraphs.

Cause:

Blackboard uses HTML code in the background for every item entered into the course. This can cause a loss of formatting.
