How do I save files in a VDI session?
Wyse Terminal
VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure)
A VDI user can save files normally to the My Documents folder, a USB storage device, or an appropriate network drive.
Examples: Home (H:) Drive, Secure (W:) Drive, or (S:) Drive.
**It is strongly recommended to save all files to the (H:) Drive.
1. Open My Computer and identify your network drive (ex. H:, W:, or S:) or storage device.
2. Select file(s) to save and drag/copy to the appropriate network drive or storage device.
3. Confirm that the files have been saved by checking the location where you saved them.
Warning: Saving files anywhere other than My Documents folder, a USB storage device, or appropriate network drive will render your files unrecoverable when you log off.
