Recover Lost or Forgotten NetID Password

Problem or Question:

I forgot my NetID Password, how can I get it?

Solution or Answer:

1) Go to http://www.csueastbay.edu/netid/

2) Click the appropriate type: "Students" or "Faculty, Staff, Library Patrons, and Alumni."

3) Click "Recover your lost NetID password"

4) Type in your NetID

5) Click "Get My Questions"

6) Answer the three questions.

7) Click "Reset Password"

If you do not remember the security questions visit the the Enrollment Information Center on the first floor of the Student Services Building on the Hayward Campus, or the Academic Services Center on the Concord Campus. You must present a government issued Photo ID.

Note: Returning students should use the same NetID and password they had before, but do not try to activate upon reentry.
